Human Resources Coordinator – Part-time/Internship
Location: Multimatic Product Services, Novi, Michigan, United States
Who you’ll work with: Global Sales Organization including; VP of Sales & Marketing, Executive Sales Directors, Technical Sales Managers, Business Unit Stakeholders, Engineering, local and corporate; IT, HR, Finance, and Administrative teams
Who you’ll support/report to: HR Manager in Novi
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the organization with general questions about HR benefits, policies or initiatives
• Communicate facility COVID-19 protocol and support implementation of updates
• Organize HR data using internal resources and methods
• Coordinate recruiting meetings including; position in-take, introductions and interviews
• Support managers with pre-hire processes like onboarding planning and profile set up
• Conduct onboarding activity for new employees; issuing new IT tickets, paperwork, 1st day plans
• Collaborate with office team and support associate development and teambuilding activities
• Support a strong team culture with a positive and creative approach
• Occasional front office duties or support
• Additional special projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
• Earned or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration from an accredited University
• 1 year cumulative (ex. multiple internships) of experience within an Office setting
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
• Effective follow up and completion of open items
• Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast paced environment
• Experience using; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• A solutions based customer relations approach with clear written and verbal communication skills
• Passion, and the ability to demonstrate perseverance
Our work environment and physical demands:
• The ability to work in an office environment at least 20 hours per week
• This may include sitting or standing for the majority of the day
• Although infrequent you may need to lift, carry, push, and pull material
