SUMMARY
Multimatic Indiana - Butler is looking for an Automated Machine Operator who will be responsible for performing assignments requiring judgment and problem solving skills relating to automated and non-automated equipment. The Automated Machine Operator will perform setup and changeovers related to roll-formers and other equipment.
Duties:
- Perform all functions of machine operation, setup and changeover
- Keep all machines in good working order
- Ability to butt weld and load new coils in a safe manner
- Ability to re-teach/touch up robotic points
- Make tooling adjustments and tooling changes as needed
- Perform troubleshooting, minor machine and tool repair and preventative maintenance
- Responsible for reworking product as required
- Participate in corrective action or continuous improvement activities when necessary
- Understand incoming part quality and its effect on dimensional robustness
- Perform other functions as required
