SUMMARY

Multimatic Indiana - Butler is looking for an Automated Machine Operator who will be responsible for performing assignments requiring judgment and problem solving skills relating to automated and non-automated equipment. The Automated Machine Operator will perform setup and changeovers related to roll-formers and other equipment.

Duties:

  • Perform all functions of machine operation, setup and changeover
  • Keep all machines in good working order
  • Ability to butt weld and load new coils in a safe manner
  • Ability to re-teach/touch up robotic points
  • Make tooling adjustments and tooling changes as needed
  • Perform troubleshooting, minor machine and tool repair and preventative maintenance
  • Responsible for reworking product as required
  • Participate in corrective action or continuous improvement activities when necessary
  • Understand incoming part quality and its effect on dimensional robustness
  • Perform other functions as required
