MULTIMATIC NEW HAVEN; Structures & Suspension Group established its manufacturing presence in Fort Wayne, IN in 2017. We are searching for dynamic & highly technical individual(s) who desires to join an energetic and dedicated team in a high tech, state-of-the-Art environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES          

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

  • Able to run parts using PC-DMIS Software package
  • Able to program CMM using CAD through PC-DMIS or similar dimensional software
  • PPAP & Data collection & ability to analyze/interpret data
  • Experience using SPC tools
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Knowledgeable in GD&T
  • Hold non-conforming materials (use inventory management)
  • Sort through non-conforming material as necessary to aid in disposition
  • Perform all capability studies and analyze process variances
  • Interact with internal & external customers all PSO’s & PPAP’s as needed
  • Problem solves (work with operations on shift to determine root cause of material on hold and make the appropriate changes to limit the amount of material placed on hold)
  • Perform control plan audits. Work with engineers to update as needed
  • Perform annual dimensional layouts per customer requirements and any additional as requested
  • Perform Process/Product and LPA Audits
  • Perform all activities as needed to support IATF 16949
  • Perform all activities as needed for gage calibrations & gage systems
  • Assist with or answer 8D assignments on customer rejects
  • Ability to generate new form/work instructions/check sheets
  • Assist the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer as assigned
  • Ability to write Operator Instruction for new gages
  • Perform other duties within other areas of quality department as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree or higher preferred or minimum of a High School diploma/GED
  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Minimum of three (3) – five (5) years’ experience operating CMM equipment
  • Previous metrology experience and CAD desired.
