CLEAN ROOM TECHNICIAN

Multimatic is a global automotive supply company providing hardware and engineering services to OEMs around the world.  Its UK-based engineering division, Multimatic Technical Centre Europe (MTCE), is a leading supplier of engineering and vehicle development services to major automotive OEMs and a growing number of niche vehicle manufacturers.  Specialties include suspension systems, vehicle dynamics, carbon fibre structural components, mechanisms and mechatronics.

MTCE is seeking a Clean Room Technician to work in our in-house Clean Room to inspect, clean, analyse and package parts in line with assembly and engineering requirements. We are looking for various shift patterns and can be flexible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Accept components into the laboratory accompanied by associated paperwork and log data
  2. Perform visual examination of components and report any non-conformance
  3. Prepare components for cleaning and analysis
  4. Complete flushing & associated tasks to deliver finished product to required specifications
  5. Inspect/examine components to ensure required specifications have been obtained
  6. Correctly package/seal components to ensure cleanliness levels are maintained
  7. Ensure correct labelling is affixed to component packaging
  8. Completion of paperwork in conformance with QA and Project Administration requirements
  9. Assist with maintaining laboratory as a clean and safe working environment
  10. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 9001:2015).
  11. Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
  12. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 

  1. Experience within a similar department
  2. Demonstrate ability to be able to learn various software packages
  3. Basic knowledge of MS Windows
  4. Basic mechanical assembly experience
  5. Ability to read, write and speak English
