Junior Finance and Admin Assistant

Location: Multimatic CFT, Wymondham, Norfolk, United Kingdom

We have an exciting new position for someone looking to start their career in Finance and Administration.  This would suit someone who is proactive and committed to learning and developing their skills to support the smooth running of the finance and admin department. 

Main duties include:

  • Answer all telephone calls, transferring to the relevant department and taking messages.
  • Greet all visitors to the site in line with company procedure
  • Receive and distribute post
  • Order office and canteen supplies
  • General admin duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning documents, handling confidential information in line with company procedure and data protection
  • Data input, ensuring information is recorded accurately.
  • Assist purchase ledger with processing invoices, reconciling statements and dealing with purchase queries.
  • Assist sales ledger with processing sales orders, raising invoices and assisting with production lists.
  • Use IT packages and systems including MS Office and Sage to input data, send emails, as well as, record data
  • Review processes and provide suggestions for improvements, sharing administrative best-practice across the company
  • Manage workload to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and in line with expectations.

Requirements

  • Accounts/Finance/Maths A Level or equivalent qualification and English & Maths GCSE Grade C/4 and above or equivalent.
  • Strong levels of numeracy
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Eye for detail
  • Knowledge of accounting systems would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Some experience within an office-based environment would be preferred, ideally finance or accounting, but not essential.

Full training will be given and support towards a recognised qualification will be provided.
