Warranty Administrator

Scope of Position :

As a Warranty Administrator you will be responsible for administering co-ordinating all agreed warranty repairs and claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation and parts for return are processed in line with the vehicle warranty procedures and maintaining customer satisfaction at all times. This role involves administration responsibilities as you will be expected to monitor weekly and daily warranty reports, submit claims and follow up with customers and manufacturers throughout the process.

Based within a World Class Niche Vehicle Assembly Business in the West Midlands, the Warranty Administrator plays an integral part in our aftersales Team. This role requires direct interaction with manufacturers, colleagues and customers therefore it is essential you are able to communicate effectively and be both friendly and professional.

Key

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for processing and admin of all warranty claims (car and truck parts), highlighting any safety critical or high cost claims which should be investigation
  • Process all warranty claims onto SAP, completed on time and accurately
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the aftersales bill of materials and kitting sets
  • Ensure Warranty database is maintained and regularly updated
  • Communicate and discuss Warranty rejection reports with confidence to Multimatic  customers
  • Highlight any safety critical or high cost warranty claims to the Multimatic Aftersales Team
  • Monitor warranty trends
  • Correspond to all Multimatic customers, suppliers and subsidiaries


Key Areas of Authority:

  • Responsible for receiving and communicating information connected to warranty and after sales and inputting them into the system


Basic Requirements :

  • It is important that you are well organised, able to follow processes and procedures and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate in an effective, friendly and professional manner.
  • A good knowledge of SAP system
  • A good understanding of vehicle BOM’s
