Scope of Position:
We are looking for a talented Programme Coordinator to join our growing Programme Management team on one of the world’s most exciting automotive projects.
The Programme Coordinator is the pivotal person supporting the team in all aspects of project delivery including programme timing, customer & supplier communication, procurement, BOM management, build support and engineering change coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain accurate programme timing plans
- Liaise regularly with all key suppliers to ensure parts are received on time for build
- Maintain the project ‘Open to Go’ parts tracking documents
- Create and maintain key programme documentation
- Support regular customer project reviews
- Track incoming engineering change requests
- Work closely with the Quality and Engineering teams to ensure issues are captured and driven towards resolution
- Liaise with the Production Manager and cascade latest build schedules to the Operations team
- Coordinate logistics tasks relating to the programme, both incoming and outgoing
- Support the Programme Manager in creating/updating metrics and presentation materials
- Create and issue RFQ documents to the supply chain, and assist in the overall sourcing process
- Raise purchase orders, and create/manage supplier schedules
- Work with the Systems team to ensure BOM and ERP updates are put in place
- Work hands-on with the Production and Manufacuring Engineering teams during the prototype phase to ensure all process and quality documentation is in place and build issues are captured
- Highlight any issues to programme team on a regular basis
- Attend training courses as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience in a technical or business function
- Demonstrable previous experience in a project management or coordination role
- Experience within an Automotive environment is beneficial but not essential
- Prior experience in dealing with commercial aspects of project management
- Proven experience of delivering projects to the desired outcomes, on time and to budget
- Experience in using digital tools to support project management, including MS Excel, Powerpoint and Project.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
