Financial Controller - Multimatic Sales & Marketing

Position:

Finance Controller – Sales Organization

Location:

Who you’ll work with:

VP of Sales & Marketing, local and corporate; finance, HR and administrative teams, Executive Sales Directors, Business Unit Stakeholders, Commercial Partners

Who you’ll support/report to: VP of Sales & Marketing

How you’ll add value to our team:

  • Develop, execute and manage procedures to regularly report financial information for the Sales & Marketing organization
  • Support local executive leadership team as a financial partner through a proactive and strategic approach
  • Manage global group monthly reporting, and prepare monthly review with profit and cash flow walks
  • Support global budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsible for development of direct reports including supporting the organization as a proxy for their tasks and responsibilities
  • Support for US tax; incentives, grants, compliance and tax audits (federal and state) for US legal entities
  • Provide direction on US payroll regulations to Corporate and US divisions
  • Review and approve group supplier payments through various platforms
  • Oversee payroll for Sales locations in the US and Germany
  • Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure integrity and timeliness of financial information
  • Evaluate current processes and develop continuous improvement methods
  • Communicate insight and solutions to key industry trends

 Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or applicable field from an accredited University is required
  • Minimum of 10 years accounting experience, Public accounting and tax experience preferred
  • Completion of a recognized accounting designation (CPA) is preferred
  • Demonstrated self-starter ready to initiate and own opportunities
  • Effective follow up and completion of open items
  • Experienced in multitasking and prioritizing requests, in time sensitive situations
  • Demonstrated experience in anticipate delivering results within an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment
  • Global team experience in the Automotive Industry and an understanding OEM/Supplier relationships is preferred
  • Experience with grants and local chamber of commerce or governments is preferred
  • A high level of proficiency using; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • A solutions based customer relations approach with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and valid documentation to travel internationally
  • Passion, and the ability to demonstrate perseverance
