Shipper / Receiver
Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles NA, Markham, Ontario, Canada
Position Overview:
Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America is seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to ensure efficient movement of raw material and finished goods on/off truck and around the facility that produces the Ford's GT supercar.
Reporting to the Materials Manager, the successful candidate will have experience working in a fast paced warehouse and understand the importance of a strong work ethic, be able to multitask and work efficiently and accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all stabled safety procedures
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments against invoices, purchase orders and other supporting documents
- Record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Maintain receiving and inspection records
- Coordinate and facilitate all receiving and shipping of finished goods, raw material and other miscellaneous items
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Scan in all incoming distributions and transfers, maintain shipping logs, and file all paperwork
- Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly
- Assist in the preparation for physical inventory counts
- Maintain warehouse area for raw material, finished goods by tracking material movements daily
- Ensure assigned work area is kept clean and organized
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
- Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment and providing positive feedback
- Adhering to Multimatic’s quality-focused attitude and work culture
Training is provided as required.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to handle weights unassisted up to 23 kilograms
- Work in a safe manner and possesses basic knowledge in health and safety regulations
- Experience in use of forklift, pallet lifters, hand trucks and dollies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and be flexible in daily work assignments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills, punctual and reliable
- Computer literacy, especially MS Office
- Experience with SAP is an strong asset
