Position Overview:

Multimatic is a global automotive supply company providing hardware and engineering services to OEMs around the world. 

Multimatic Niche Volume Assembly is seeking a Stores Person for our facility here in Thetford. This role is offered on a full time permanent contract – Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Take receipt of all deliveries and book them as per the receipting process
  2. Carry out goods in inspection on deliveries as per there stated check list
  3. Stock all parts in there designated stores location
  4. Inform/deliver orders to recipients around the building
  5. Raise purchase orders/send purchase orders.
  6. Arrange shipments and ensure shipment documentation is correct.
  7. Pack parts as required by their delivery process.
  8. Carry out dock audits for outgoing parts.
  9. Carry out stock and stores process audits on an ongoing basis
  10. Co-ordinate daily transport – in liaison with material planner.
  11. Monitor and maintain/ track stock status
  12. Prepare and carry out regular stock counts including end of year stock audit.
  13. Good knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  14. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 90012014).
  15. Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
  16. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of experience in an administrative/operational role
  • GCSE or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of MS Windows
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Counter balance fork lift licence (essential)
  • Ability to work evening shift
