Position Summary:
Multimatic Technical Centre Europe (MTCE) provides engineering and product development services to race teams and OEMs around the world. It is Multimatic's Centre of Excellence for the ongoing design, development and implementation of DSSV™ damping technology, and has established a strong relationship with key international motorsport organizations. MTCE is also a leading contract engineering and vehicle-development resource to major automotive OEMs and a growing number of niche vehicle manufacturers.
MTCE is seeking an experienced '3 & 4' Axis Programmer/Miller for our day shift (Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm)

Key Responsibilities
- Experienced 3 & 4 Axis CNC Programmer including setting and running. To use Siemens, Heidenhain & Mitsubishi (DMG MORI) Haas and Hurco controls. Machines include DMG MORI, HAAS, Hurco (4 Axis)
- Essential Cad Cam skills. 3 & 4 Axis using Hypermill
- Machines to use include HAAS, HURCO, 3 & 4 Axis
- Minimum 10 – 15 years’ experience of making complex milled components.
- Understanding of GD&T detailed drawings an advantage.
- Experience and capability of working to 0.01mm diametric tolerances.
Basic Requirements:
- Experience in a similar production environment role. Ideally in the automotive sector
- Apprentice trained and to have completed a HNC or equivalent
- Able to work at pace & multitask/prioritise workloads
- Strong communicator at all levels, both face-to-face & over the telephone/email
- Understanding of manufacturing process
- Use and experience of CAD/CAM systems would be useful
- Ability to read, write and speak English
