Overview

The Quality department is responsible for MNVE’s internal Quality Management System and external supplier development to ensure robust production processes and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.  This is a new position; the role will be varied and involve plenty of liaison with colleagues throughout MNVE and its sister organisations as well as with suppliers and customers.  The successful applicant will need to be experienced, flexible, adaptable and organised, with a desire to develop the role to meet the organisation’s needs.  Specifically, this role will support the Quality department during a time of significant development of our systems.

You will be expected to hit the ground running.

The various functions include, but are not limited to:

Key Duties

  • Responsible for ensuring that internal procedure and process documentation is raised, tracked, completed, logged and updated.
  • Responsible for documenting quality issues that are raised and supporting the quality engineers in the speedy resolution of these issues including contacting suppliers, responding to customer communications and populating quality documentation as required.
  • Supporting the quality department by ensuring all the necessary documentation and logs are created and maintained.
  • Provide the necessary administration to support the Organisation in its intention to obtain ISO 9001:2016 accreditation.
  • Produce and issue performance metrics to suppliers and compile analysis reports to inform internal management meetings
  • Diary management including arranging site visits, internal and external meetings etc.
  • Issuing meeting packs and taking minutes of internal and external meetings.
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Quality Manager and wider team.
  • General and project-specific filing.

Personal Attributes

This post would suit a professional administrator with exceptional core skills looking for a diverse and rewarding role within a fast-paced and growing organisation.  The successful applicant will need to possess the following essential attributes:

 

Education, Qualifications & Training

  • Educated to ‘A’ Level or equivalent
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at Grade C or higher.

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent English, spelling, punctuation and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft suite of programs, ie Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create fillable forms and combine multiple documents into cohesive project binders.
  • Ability to work across a number of projects simultaneously, managing and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently as part of a larger team in a busy and sometimes noisy environment.
  • Confident and personable manner.

 

Other Requirements

  • Desire to develop the role and responsibilities.
  • Have commitment to and support for the aims, values and work of MNVE’s Quality Department.
  • Be committed to maintaining strict confidentiality concerning all MNVE matters.

In addition, the following attributes, although not essential, are desirable:

  • Interest in automotive manufacturing
  • Experience of working within a process-driven organisation
  • Experience of creating metrics and dashboards
