Assembly Operator

Scope of Position :

To increase company profitability by providing customer with high quality assembly parts.

Hours of work: 6am-2.10pm / 2pm-10.10pm weekly shift rotation, Monday to Friday or night shift 10pm-6.10am Sunday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for correctly completing a production timesheet every shift
  • Responsible for Checks to be performed while line is running
  • Responsible for creating Production Receipts and ensuring they are correct
  • Responsible for completing Lot Traceability documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement program
  • Work in a safe manner at all times
  • Ensure that container labels are removed and trashed before an empty container is moved from the assembly facility.
  • Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts
  • Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities
  • Follow all Departmental General Procedures as well as procedures for this position as indicated in the level III Procedure manual.
  • Follow all general procedures where applicable as indicated in the General Procedures section of the level III Procedure manual.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
  • Work in compliance and conform to ITAF 16949 and ISO14001 standards
  • Responsible for basic training of operators in all aspects of their job in Conjunction with Lead Hand & Manager
  • To review and update relevant facility board documentation

Key areas of Authority:

  • Ensure that the objectives of the Business Plan are met in accordance with the framework of the company
  • Follow company procedures and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook
  • Stop any process where quality or safety issues are identified

Basic Requirements :

  • Basic knowledge required in safe working production for all assembly operations
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to learn, understand and follow instructions.
  • Must have UK right to work
