Scope of Position :
Increase company profitability by providing manufacturing with well maintained dies and fixtures while ensuring quality and ability to meet production requirements.
Hours of work: 6am-2.10pm / 2pm-10.10pm shift rotation, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities :
- Repair and maintain tools and dies as assigned.
- Trouble shooting and repair dies in press.
- Reviews and completes tool service reports.
- Review tooling at the end of a production run and determine die status
- Work in a safe manner at all times
- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities
Key areas of Authority:
- Ensure that the objectives of the Business Plan are met in accordance with the framework of the company
- Follow company procedures and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook
- Stop any process where quality or safety issues are identified
Requirements :
- Qualified Tool and Die Maker or equivalent
- Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.
Ability to read, write and speak English
