Position Overview:

Multimatic Niche Vehicle Assembly Europe (MNVAE), located in Coventry UK, is a world-class facility responsible for the production of future bespoke vehicles. MNVAE is currently seeking a finance analyst to join our team and be responsible for supporting accounting activities for the business.

Scope of Position:

 

  • The Finance Analyst will assist the Financial Controller in the assessment of company performance through preparation and analysis of financial and operational data. The Finance Analyst will be the financial liaison across all cross-functional departments at the MNVAE facility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Ownership and preparation of monthly financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Contribution Margin analysis and supporting commentaries

 

  • Compile and analyse monthly results against budget/forecast, identifying and initiating corrective action as appropriate and supporting Group/Corporate reporting requirements
  • Monthly reconciliation of inter-company transactions
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain integrity of financial systems – SAP, OneStream
  • Establish and monitor procedures and policies designed to effectively manage working capital (e.g. AP/AR and Inventory), including the control of payment approvals
  • Assist in establishing processes and continual monitoring of cash flows at the divisional and Group levels to ensure business plans and objectives can be executed as intended
  • Supervision of AP/AR Analyst
  • Assist with the development and review of effective divisional Key Performance Indicators
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly VAT returns
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecast
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual audit pack to ensure a smooth audit is achieved
  • Other duties as required

 

Basic Requirements:

  • CIMA/ACCA Finalist or Qualified
  • Strong double entry accounts experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees within the organisation
