Position Overview:
Multimatic Motorsports Europe is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Inspector to provide procedures and processes for the internal and external inspection of goods in order to add value to the company’s products, and ensure all goods received are to specification.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
- To be responsible for the inspection of goods using CMM and conventional inspection equipment to ensure components are correct to drawing specification
- To carry out calibration of inspection equipment at predetermined timed intervals to ensure all equipment is calibrated
- To be responsible for laser engraving or labelling all drawn components to ensure batch traceability and component identification procedures are fulfilled
- To identify goods that require post-inspection processes and advise stores to ensure the required action is taken so that they conform to drawings specifications
- To be responsible for the segregation of non-conforming components and liaison with the Chief Engineer on appropriate action to ensure that non-confirming components are restrained from entering the system
Education & Experience Requirement:
- City & Guilds in Engineering or ONC
- Ability to work to tight schedules with a flexible approach to working hours
- 3 years’ experience of CMM and Conventional Inspection Equipment
- Quality and Accuracy
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
