Position Overview:

MTCE is seeking Graduate Engineers to join the team in supporting multiple groups in a wide spectrum of projects across the business.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum 2:1 MEng/BEng or BSc
  • Ability to conduct engineering calculations using MS Office software and in-house tools
  • Be familiar with typical product development and part verification systems (e.g. FMEA, PPAP etc.)
  • Excellent report writing and results interpretation skills, including presentations
  • Passionate about the automotive or motorsports industries
  • Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks as and when required
  • Strong ability to prove out design ideas using engineering tools
  • Driven to achieve world class results in a high tempo environment
  • Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks as and when required
  • Ability to work to all relevant company guidelines and procedures

Desirable:

  • A year spent in the industry
  • Capability in either NX or CATIA CAD systems would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Experience in or knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) software such as Altai Hyperworks would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Participation in Formula Student and some practical mechanical / machining experience from hobbies or projects outside of university
