Position Overview:
Multimatic EU-Matic is looking for a Maintenance Engineer who will report to the Maintenance Manager. The candidate must be able to work shifts as the plant runs 24/5.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PM’s and TMP as per schedule
- Perform reactive maintenance - all electrical work including repairs on all equipment and machinery as required, including backup to assembly line programs, creating and modifying a line program and die wiring
- Ensure that all associated lighting and power are in proper working order and meet all codes and company procedures
- PLC Programming and fault-finding (some knowledge of Omron, Siemens and Allen Bradley an advantage)
- Responsible for completion of necessary paperwork
- Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement suggestions
Education and Experience:
- Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent
- Able to fault-find with or without drawings
- Experience in high volume manufacturing, preferably in an automotive environment
- Knowledge of either presses, CNC equipment or assembly machinery
- 18th Edition wiring regulation certificate desired
- Experience with Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Mechanical systems an advantage
- PLC programming experience required
