Position Overview:
Multimatic Anton is looking for a Material Handler Assembly (Night shift). The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for providing the press department with safe, well maintained tools and dies, while ensuring quality and the ability to meet production requirements in a timely manner. Experience troubleshooting in a press shop environment would be an asset

Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Restocking lines and arranging the storage area for plated stampings
- Responsible for removing finished goods from assembly and delivering to final audit area
- Responsible for fork truck , BT and Tugger inspections
- Responsible for ensuring general safety guidelines (forklift checklist) are adhered to.
- Responsible for organizing and returning skids.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy/organized work area.
- Work in a safe manner at all times.
- Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts.
- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
- Follow all general procedures where applicable as indicated in the General Procedures section of the level III Procedure manual.
- Follow all Departmental General Procedures as well as procedures for this position as indicated in the level III Procedure manual.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work in compliance with and conform to TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
Basic Requirements :
- Equivalent of Grade 12/GCSE Grade C formal education
- Valid forklift license is preferred (or equivalent)
- Experience with bar coding
- Ability to interact with employees in a multicultural environment
- Understanding of TS16949 requirements and procedures would be an asset
- Ability to read, write and speak English
