Specialties include suspension systems, vehicle dynamics, carbon fibre structural components, mechanisms and mechatronics.

Position Overview:

Multimatic Technical Centre Europe is looking for an enthusiastic Parts Coordinator to work in its leading automotive prototype team. Working to tight lead times, you will thrive in a busy and ever changing workshop. No two days are the same and you will enjoy variety in your work. Organising team logistics, sourcing parts and materials, receiving and storing parts, maintaining accurate stock inventory are some of the tasks that this role will be involved in. You will also be liaising with private customers, so a high level of customer service is crucial for this role.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Goods in and out – receiving and sending parts as required
  • Unloading vehicles and booking in goods (forklift work will be required)
  • Storing and recording stock into the control system
  • Maintaining accurate stock inventory
  • Supporting the vehicle workshop with parts as required
  • Liaising with customers on warranty work
  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to the facility

About you:

  • You will have a passion for the automotive industry and be excited at the idea of working with niche vehicles
  • You will be a self-starter, able to manage your own time efficiently with a customer first attitude
  • A high level of commitment and attention to detail is critical
  • You’ll be a strong communicator at all levels
  • The ability to work to tight lead times, consistently reproducing high quality work
  • Work well as part of team and prepared to be flexible to meet the needs of the team & customer demand
  • Enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude
  • Forklift experience
  • Previous experience of working in an automotive environment or motor racing would be an advantage
