Position Overview:

Multimatic Technical Centre Europe (MTCE) provides engineering and product development services to race teams and OEM’s around the world. It is Multimatic's Centre of Excellence for the ongoing design, development and implementation of DSSV® Damping Technology, and has established a strong relationship with key international Motorsports organizations. MTCE is also a leading contract engineering and vehicle development resource to major automotive OEMs and a growing number of niche vehicle manufacturers.

MTCE is currently seeking to recruit Suspension Engineers with a range of skills to join the growing team delivering OEM, motorsport and niche vehicle projects within Multimatic.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

As a suspension engineer, you will be involved in the concept and development of suspension systems, ranging from packaging and structural requirements to the detail design, modelling and drafting of precision components. You will be involved in projects through all stages of production so should be familiar with production and development methods. Knowledge of suspension design and optimisation would be a distinct advantage as would an understanding of hydraulic systems design. The role will include the creation, sign off and release of technical drawings for components and assemblies as well as BOM creation, component validation and customer interface.

Education and Experience:

If you have three (3) years’ experience in a similar or related position within the automotive industry, an Engineering degree or equivalent and have the drive to reach challenging goals, this position should interest you.  It is expected that candidates will have capability in either NX or CATIA CAD systems. Candidates should also be familiar with typical product development and part verification systems (e.g. FMEA, PPAP etc.).
