Position Overview

Multimatic  Anton manufactures high quality, closure hardware systems for all vehicle applications. With facilities in North America and Europe, and representation in all major markets, the Multimatic Mechanisms Group is a world-class full service supplier providing, stamped, profile, cast and forged hinge systems for all applications including door, hood, trunk, liftgate/decklid and sliding doors and closure checking, assist and power devices.

Multimatic Anton requires a Cost Analyst - AQP that will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and organized system for the tracking, analysis and forecasting of all pre-production program activities, engineering changes, costing and capital equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Fixed asset maintenance
  • Preparation of AQP tooling gross margin reports
  • Responsible for Financial reviews with program manager
  • Preparation of AQP sales and cost of sales forecasts
  • Responsible for Allocation of time spent on projects from Time sheets
  • Responsible for AQP purchase orders
  • Responsible for Circulating/updating AQP job numbers
  • Preparation of Capital and Depreciation Budgets
  • Responsible for Invoice (AQP & Capital) processing
  • Preparation of FSS Reports
  • Responsible for Accounting for Die tryouts (Project Accounting)
  • Preparation of Work Order Tracker
  • Preparation of Capital purchase orders
  • Processing of Engineering and Material invoices
  • Preparation of Capital approval form
  • Foreign Currency reclass into projects
  • Bank and Fixed Assets Reconciliations
  • Preparation of Fixed Assets Schedule at Year End for external auditors
  • Coordinate KPI activities with Plant Controller
  • Work in a safe manner at all times
  • Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts
  • Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities
  • Follow all general procedures where applicable as indicated in the GENERAL PROCEDURES section of the level III Procedure manual
  • Follow all DEPARTMENTAL GENERAL PROCEDURES as well as procedures for this position as indicated in the level III Procedure manual
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work in compliance and conform to QS9000, TS16949 and ISO14001 standards

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Enrollment in a recognized accounting designation (CMA, CGA)
  • Minimum three years practical accounting experience in a computerized office preferably in the automotive, manufacturing industry
  • Computer literate, a good working knowledge of MS Excel, SAP systems and exposure to menu driven accounting system
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
